This year I got my preschool up and running. I am working at getting more children enrolled soon so that I can get a waiting list going - but it's pretty hard to get children enrolled mid-school-year. Jarod is working with his Dad and his brother and seems to enjoy working with his hands. We still love our home, and every day I find something that needs to be cleaned, fixed, or polished. An example is that our baseboards are all pretty torn up... so I have been repainting them one at a time. The other day I found a lot of grime still on some of the walls, so I scrubbed them down. I actually find a lot of joy and pride in fixing things up in my own home. Jarod made the comment the other day that I have it made. I get to stay at home, play with Reagan, and now teach preschool. I tell him it's not as easy as he thinks it is. Reagan is a handful and we don't kick back and watch tv all day. She's not like a fish, she requires attention, exercise, and food to stay happy and healthy - oh, and don't forget the struggles of putting her down for a nap. Yeah, I love being home with her - and I wouldn't trade it for anything right now... but I would like to see him take a day and do what I do. :)
