Cheesecake!... and other stuff

Yesterday I had the time to finally make the cheesecake that all the ingredients in the fridge were for. 'It's about time!' It took a while to get back into the groove of things. I hadn't made anything in my new kitchen so far, let alone a cheesecake for at least a year. I miss being able to get to everything in my kitchen. Right now we are in a temporary apartment until our floor gets fixed and this kitchen is far smaller than the one at University Courtyard - If you can believe it for those of you who have been at University Courtyard. I have no storage space and I am pretty sure that I am using the cupboards down the hall in a way they are not supposed to be used. You see, they are right across the hall from the bathroom... I use it as a food pantry. We use some of the shelf space in the laundry room as a place to put our other kitchen things that don't fit.
This isn't the only thing that we would like to fix. The apartment is cute, don't get me wrong, however it just wasn't built for married people. The biggest bed that fits down the narrow stairs and hallway is a full. We have no idea how the people got the washer and dryer into this apartment. Beyond that, we like this apartment. Jarod says that if he could have his way and the apartment could fit a queen bed and if it had a bathtub, then he would like to stay here. I think that is just the anti-moving feelings stirring within him.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand... I hope this is just the start of my cooking creativity coming though. Lets hope...
