Do you know what F.HE. stands for at Apartment 91? Four Hiding Endorphine-Releasers! I have laughed so much tonight that my face really hurts! The night has included Liz snorting repeatedly (we love you, Liz!), trying to sneak up on Stephanie while she practiced her recorder (dang! she caught us!), Kari losing her shoe as we all made a mad dash to our apartment after thumping on our next door's window (Liz!!!) and of course myself hearing those endearing words "I can feel your leg pulsing," from Kari as all 20 lbs of her sat on my hefty thigh. :) All in all, it's been a fabulous night fraught with adventure and laughs. We started the night out by deciding that we really didn't want to go to F.H.E. So, our decision made, we began putting our plan of avoidance into action... Our apartment phone rang and Liz, who was on her cell phone, picked up and said hastily, "Can't talk right now..." and promptly hung up. (Come to find out later, it was one of our F.H.E. sisters calling...) Then Kari turned out all the lights and closed the blinds - I was in the middle of pouring myself a glass of milk and almost succeeded in filling up my shoe instead when the 'power went out'. Kari, scampering up the stairs said, "We're not at home!" Fine by me - there was a big container of cookies on the couch; I knew we could survive. ;)
As luck would have it, some other guys in the ward came over to our apartment to let us know our F.H.E brothers were wondering where we were. Stephanie was the first to repent of the fatted calf group and answered the door. I hid upstairs with a glass of milk and a fish stick for comfort. :)
In the end, we admitted defeat and decided to repent and go to our F.H.E. group for awhile.
When we got there, Tyson said, "Yeah, we didn't really bother with calling up apt #11. Do you know that when we went over to meet them last Saturday, they turned out their lights and wouldn't answer?!!!"
The four of us looked at each other grinningly and said, " Now, who would ever do a thing like that?" Honestly people!
