Hidden Talents

I like to think there are talents in everyone we meet that they know they have or may not even know they have... that they don't share with anyone... they could be embarrassing or the person may just be too modest to share them with anyone. I have talents that people don't know about and I just don't want to flaunt them. Jarod on the other hand likes to flaunt my talents to others as he gets the chance to do so. I may share my casually or I may show them to give ideas about enrichment, for example. I like to think that I am fairly good at crafts and artistic work. I hope I am getting better at my guitar. I really try to improve in being a good listener and friend.
As for the talents that Jarod has, I like to look for them. He is very good at making spaghetti. He is extremely good at being cute and old fashioned. On our 'first date' which wasn't really a date at all, he refused to let me open my door for myself. He is good at doing car care and body work. As for one hidden talent I found in Jarod, he can look handsome and make any article of clothing look good. His batman belt buckle, his many ties, and this apron of course. ;)
I for one want to work on finding my own hidden talents and develop more of them. I have always stated that I am allergic to sports because I am terribly uncoordinated and I have a fear of flying objects in a spherical shape. That is something I would really like to work on. One other thing is my need to make everyone happy. I have a perfectionist complex and I need to worry less about making others happy and just be content with making myself happy with what I accomplish.
